There are numerous types of boats and personal watercraft available for rent that will provide hours of entertainment for boaters, water skiers, sailors, fishermen, sportsmen and thrill-seekers on Northern California's lakes, rivers and waterways! Pontoon Boats, Patio Boats, Ski Boats, Runabouts, Fishing Boats and Personal Watercraft (Jet Skis, Sea-Doos, WaverRunners, etc).
Multiple Locations
Private Fleet - This is a "membership" arrangement that enables members to rent all kinds of power boats, sailboats and other sporting equipment at multiple locations around California. If you are a "frequent user," this might be worth considering.
Bucks Lake (Plumas County - Quincy) - A lovely recreation area located about a 3-hour drive north of Sacramento.
Bucks Lake Marina - RV park, campground and cabins. Rent patio boats, fishing boats and jet skis.
California Delta - The California Delta - fed by 3 major rivers (the San Joaquin, the Sacramento and the Mokelumne) - offers beauty, enjoyment and versatility. There are over 1,000 miles of waterways that provide boaters, skiers and sailors ample opportunities for fun. The Delta is also a fisherman's paradise. It's home to an abundance black bass, striped bass, crappie, perch, bullhead, catfish and sturgeon. There are
Bethel Island - Conveniently located in the heart of the Sacramento/San Joaquin River Delta. This is one of the best spots in Northern California for bass fishermen.
Delta Watercraft - Rent Sea-Doos and Yamaha WaveRunner Personal Watercraft.
Lundborg Landing - They rent bass boats at this family fishing resort and marina. Have RV and camping facilities.
Sugar Barge Resort and Marina - A full-service RV resort and marina. They rent fishing/motor boats.
Lodi - Tower Park Resort KOA Boat Rentals - 12' runabouts up to 19' ski boats are available for 1/2 day or full-day rentals.
Rio Vista and Isleton - H2O To Go - Located at Spindrift Marina and Lighthouse Resort and Marina on the Delta Loop. They rent ski boats, jet skis, fishing boats, pontoon boats and party boats.
Stockton - Seven Crown Resorts Paradise Point Marina - This is a Seven Crown Resort. They're on the water at Bishop Cut and Disappointment Slough. They rent houseboats, ski boats, patio boats, fishing boats and personal watercraft year-round.
Clear Lake (Lakeport) - Clear Lake is California's second largest freshwater lake. It's popular for all types of water sports and recreation, including fishing, boating and water-skiing. Clear Lake has been designated by professional bass-fishing organizations as the number one bass lake in the nation. Fishermen will also find plenty of catfish, blackfish, perch, hitch, crappie and bluegill. In nearby Clear Lake State Park, hikers enjoy the Indian Nature Trail (a self-guided trail that shows how the Pomo Indians lived), as well as an abundance of wildlife and wildflowers.

Folsom Lake (Granite Bay)
Folsom Lake Boat Rentals - This is the only boat rental facility at Folsom Lake. They're conveniently located near the Granite Bay boat launch ramp and have ski boats, patio boats and fishing boat rentals available.
Lake Almanor (Plumas County - Chester) - Located about 160 miles north of Sacramento, Lake Almanor is one of California's largest man-made lakes. It has 52 miles of shoreline and many people think it is one of the most beautiful places in California! With a surface temperature rising to 75 degrees in the summer, the pristine water is perfect for all kinds of water sports - boating, water skiing, sailing - and provides good year-round fishing. You can also golf, hike or visit Lassen Volcanic National Park, which is only about 35 miles away.
Knotty Pine Resort and Marina - A rustic resort and marina that has log cabins and RV spaces. They rent ski boats, runabouts, pontoon boats, fishing boats and watercraft. They are open year-round, so you can enjoy summer fun and beautiful fall foliage, as well as winter sports.
Majors Outpost - Located on the western shore of the lake, they rent Ski Boats, Pontoon Patio Boats, Fishing Boats, Sea-Doos and Waverunners.
Lake Berryessa (Napa) - A 45 minute drive from the beautiful and famous Napa Valley (90 minutes from the Bay area), this area is well-known by water sport enthusiasts and fisherman alike. Lake Berryessa is a magnificent setting for a multitude of activities: water skiing, tubing, wake boarding, jet skiing and fishing. Rainbow trout, as well as large and small mouth bass are caught year-round (May through December are the best months for trout).
Wet Pleasure Boat and Jet Ski Rentals - Everything you need for water sporting fun of wake boarding, tubing or water-skiing. They have Sanger ski boats and several different models of jet skis.
Spanish Flat Resort - They have camping, picnic and marina facilities with 4 bass buggies and 14 aluminum boats for rent.
Lake Berryessa Houseboat Rentals - Situated on the western side of the lake, they have 2 new ski boats in addition to their houseboats.
Lake Tahoe - This intensely blue lake is located on the California/Nevada border in the northern Sierras. It is 22 miles long by 10 miles wide and is at an elevation of 6,200 ft. Surrounded by national forests, Lake Tahoe boasts some of the most popular tourist resorts in the world.
Action Watersports at Timber Cove Marina - Located 1-1/2 miles west of the Stateline Casinos (behind Timber Cove Lodge) in South Lake Tahoe. Power boats, sail boats; public or private cruises; para sailing and jet skis. They also have a second location across from the Hyatt at Incline Village.
Camp Richardson Resort Marina - Located in the middle of the lake's longest stretch of sandy beach this full-service marina is the closest marina to Emerald Bay. They have power boats, ski boats, sea kayaks, paddle boats, a sailboat, sport fishing, water ski school and para sailing.
H2O Sports at Round Hill Pines - Located 3 minutes past the Stateline casinos on the South side of the lake (in Zephyr Cove/Nevada side), they feature Sea-Doo jet skis, cruises, fishing charters and para-sailing to the "top of Tahoe." Round Hill Pines has numerous other activities such as tennis and volleyball courts and a heated swimming pool.
Lake Tulloch - With many coves along its 55 miles of shoreline, Lake Tulloch is surrounded by the majestic Table Mountain range. You'll find stunning views and some of the best water skiing in California.
South Lake Tulloch Campground and Marina - Has RV campsites, tent sites and lakefront cabins. Boat rentals are at Tulloch Lake Boat Rentals.
Lewiston Lake - While there are many opportunities to fish from shore on Lewiston Lake, your options increase greatly when you use a boat.
Lakeview Terrace Resort - They have 14' fiberglass fishing boats that comfortably fit four adults. If you want to take friends, they also offer a patio boat which holds up to eight adults.
Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz Boat Rentals and Capitola Boat and Bait - Both are located at the wharves in Santa Cruz and Capitola. These companies have the only motorized ocean skiffs for rent on Monterey Bay. In Capitola they also rent kayaks and hydro-bikes.
Shasta (Lake Shasta) - With, by far, the most shoreline miles of any lake in California, Lake Shasta is one of the best recreational lakes in the country! The majestic mountains, the evergreens and the pristine water make it a perfect place for boating, fun and relaxation. The lake is formed by four rivers - the Sacramento, McCloud, Squaw and Pit, which are contained by Shasta Dam, creating a many-armed lake with hundreds of coves and byways.

Seven Crown Resorts Digger Bay Marina - Rents 2 ski boats, patio boat and a fishing boat.
Go Bobs Sea-Doo Rental at Silverthorne Resort - Located at Silverthorn Resort in the Pit River arm of Lake Shasta. They rent SeeDoo personal watercraft.
Trinity Lake (Trinity Center) - Twenty-five miles long with 145 miles of shoreline, Trinity Lake is located near Weaverville - about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Redding. The nearby Shasta-Trinity National Forest provides some of the best places to hike, backpack and vacation in Northern California. In addition to all the water sports, you can experience the excitement of panning for gold and fish for trout or salmon.
KOA Campground and Marina - Offers a rental fleet of fishing boats, patio boats, party boats and ski boats. Most of the rentals are Y2K models and all are meticulously maintained.
